    World Combat Games

Any of you freaks been watching the World Combat Games?

I've been going through the youtube channel. There are some really nice SAMBO matches and Judo so far. Also have point fighting and some sort of light contact womans SAVATE which was interesting.

    whatever,

Haven't watched any of the matches yet. There was a huge upset in the 6-7 dan kendo division when a Hungarian took out a Japanese contestant in the semis. He lost to a Korean in the final. Canadians were less than stellar yesterday, both lost in the first round. Curious to see how our guy does in the 8 dan division today.

I've enjoyed watching some of the kendo matches as I haven't really seen them before.

I seems like there is only one USA team and they are TKD. Would have liked to see more americans.

Why are their point karate matches listed as "Aikido"?

Minimum age 46, more typical age mid-50s, usually practicing since grade school.
