    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Planning to start Judo soon!

Guys I just found out that there is a judo place located about a 10 minute drive away from my house. The best thing is that it's only 30$ a month! Why is judo so cheap? Anyway, the bad news is if I start doing judo I won't be able to afford my eskrima classes anymore or follow through with my plan to switch and train at Philip Gelinas place(starting University next year his gym is located maybe 10 minutes away from the school).
I've always wanted to try judo it looks so fun and I've never trained grappling before, but my passion is FMA. Im conflicted guys.

Judo is awesome. I just started going again after a hiatus and confirmed that I both love Judo and am out of Judo shape (despite lifting weights a lot... its a different kind of conditioning, obviously). Jeepers I like Judo.

I would try it. How long have you been doing FMA? I would take Judo for a month or two, see how you like it. It's very different from eskrima so it should be interesting.

I've been doing FMA for almost a year now and im completely in love with it. Quick question how can I verify if any of the claims on the club's website are true?

Well, they all sound very reasonable and believable to begin with. You could watch a practice and ask if any of the students there qualified for nationals this past year. And then train there and write us a review!

Looks like a nice club, No claims of being masters or of knowing the "secret" Judo

If you're dead keen you could always look though the competition results I would image that the Canadian Championships results would be somewhere online and the club is normally listed next to the player. If they have guys competing at that level they must be doing something right

Funny, I'm just about to start FMA (pekiti tirsia Kali) and stopping Judo after a year of training (still doing Muay Thai/BJJ).

Loved Judo but found it hard on my body (34 years young!) and was getting injurred often so I switched to BJJ. Nothing feels better than getting a good throw during randori though!

Well, since you can't take your stick with you everywhere, assuming you are interested in self-defense, then do pick Judo. But of course, if you really want to be deadly as ****, stick with FMA, where you can basically kill people, or beat up five guys in five seconds.
"We often joke -- and we really wish it were a joke -- that you will only encounter two basic problems with your 'self-defense' training.
    1) That it doesn't work
    2) That it does work"

The instructors are typically all volunteer. Also they usually don't have full-time facilities. In that clubs' case they are practicing in a church basement, although with 5 days/week that is a fuller schedule than you often see.
