    "Suffrajitsu": Bartitsu-themed graphic novel

    The Suffrajitsu graphic novel trilogy, written by Bartitsu instructor Tony Wolf, is now available for pre-order on Amazon.com:

    In the year 1914, with Europe on the brink or war, the leaders of the radical women’s rights movement are fugitives from the law. Their last line of defence is the secret society of Amazons; women trained in the martial art of Bartitsu and sworn to protect their leaders from arrest and assault …
    (And yes, that is the Bartitsu Club shown at 00:25 in the video ...)

    There will eventually be a printed collector's edition, bundled with two other graphic novels from the same series (different subject matter, though all of them have a Western martial arts theme).

    The initial publication will be via Kindle and comiXology, but note that both of those formats can be freely downloaded to most major devices (PCs, smartphones, tablets etc.)

    So essentially they are like the Bartitsu Bene Gesserit, only without the ESP but with a more legitimate martial art than the Booj-inspired Bene Gesserit of Daniel Fletcher's fiction.

    I like the placement of the canes and umbrella. Elegant weapons... for a more civilized age.

    Hope you enjoy it. The editors and publishers are pushing for reviews on Amazon.com and/or GoodReads, too, if you're in the mood.
