    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    There's no crying...

There's no crying in MMA! What am I missing, here? Does anyone have the full video?

Right now, there is only the short version - MMA fight, dude gets his ass handed to him off a teep, calls time-out, and jumps the fence. WTF?

My Sifu knew/taught(? don't remember) a guy that trained really hard, got really strong and practiced a lot of drills/pad/bag work so he could shadowbox really well. When he got into the ring with gloves, helmet and mouth guard on, he took one square shot to the jaw and quit. Spit out his mouth guard, took off his gear, and left. Never trained again, as far as I know.

Fighting just isn't for some people. I've sparred full contact and been fine, but when I got punched in the forehead about 6 times in one match by a boxing coach that is good friends with my Sifu, I had to let involuntary tears pour out of my eyes for 10 minutes (I went out back and cried), and I wasn't upset/sad that I got knocked around like nothing at all... I still couldn't say what I was crying for, so I just chalked it up to ego. That line "check your ego at the door" can't be said enough, I guess.WebRep

Every fight I was in during middle school made me cry afterwards. I never lost, I just didn't like fighting. Now I love it, for sport of course, but I won't cry if I have to knock around done obnoxious jerk anymore. I'm in high school now btw.

    Of course they can.

They can also step in front of an oncoming train.

In either case, the result is the same: they cease to be real men.

Of course--they cried when they handed us their entire North coast to keep us from torching Paris (again).

Mind you, just to be fair, the English also cried when we took over their entire country.

As did the Sicilians, the Calabrians...
