Maybe he isnt the worst ever, but I don't cotton to being lied to...not one bit.
Bush lied. Nixon lied. Clinton lied. Hell, even Lincoln lied. They all lie.

You are focusing on this particular President's lies and pretending they are unique in order to rationalize your Obama hate.

    Of course you can.

You can provide your reasons for agreeing with wealth-redistribution.

Being a user-pay type of guy, I've waited for years--apparently in vain so far--to read some logical defense of the concept.

    How about it?

Nope, I am not going to argue about something as subjective as "fairness". I can make other arguments in favor of it, such as substainability arguments of institionalised wealth and poverty. How I can not make an argument about fairness I can only express an opinion I have no desire to do so.

Nice "everyone else is jumping off the bridge," logic.

Obama was supposed to be different, you know. Joe Biden said so.

You want to use debate strategy to hide your sheer insanity.

Certainly true there, never said they did not lie, weren't discussing past POTUS's

I too am discouraged about these elected officials.

Lincoln never lied however. Leave him out of it.

Stop being so fucking dumb already
you mean like the enormously successful www.healthcare.gov? What a joke. We are the laughing stock of the world.

One of my clients, a mid level IT company indicated to me yesterday they could've built a kickass site for about 5 million and had it beta tested, running in half the time. I anticipate that in time we will learn more nepotistic awarding of contracts...or to be blunt... more Solyndra type deals. Such BS.

LMAO that midlevel IT company would be extremely wrong. If they tried to put together a server farm environment for 5 mil to try and handle this system it would have failed even harder than the one we saw. The hardware alone to properly do this site would cost more than 5 mil. Hell the OC48 they would need(which in itself may not be sufficient) will run you $150,000 a m/o I am sure if I where to sit down and do the math the OC48 would be the right choice to make. Here is the rub. Its the right choice to make for day to day operation of the site you know after that initial surge. That initial surge is the hard thing to deal with.

That initial surge causes you to look at 1000 fold increase in numbers of unique visitors compared to what will be the day to day operating capacity. I suspect CGI designed the system rightfully around the day to day numbers.

The mistake was made to not RENT extra systems for the mad dash start up.

So now they are making a mad dash to make fixes to make the system to handle a capacity it won't need to handle in the future.

Which is a bit embarrassing but far from the end of the world. As the site is mostly working now and you know their is 165 days left to sign up.

BTW CGI Federal (a part of CGI Group) was responsible for it. It won its contract via the bidding process.
