AnnMaria DeMars teaching armbars (Rousey's mother)

Enjoy. I learned a few things (as a beginner).

"If I'm gonna break his arm, he is a motivated individual." is perhaps one of the better saying in martial arts.

My sensei tells me stories of AnnMaria going from player to player prior to matches telling them that she would break their arm. 9 times out of 10, she did. Her juji is crazy. How do you think Ronda got it down so well.

Yah, Ronda has told that story in some interviews too. I have "Winning on the Ground" the mat work book from AnnMaria and Jim Pedro Sr. and its pretty fantastic.

From following her on twitter and following her blog, I don't know that she is generally that willing to do them. But you could always ask I guess. I keep thinking I should try and train with her... then I remember that I should worry about training at all (stupid grad school) and then worry about who I am training with.

Well, can't hurt to ask then. Just sharing what I know.
