So my MMA club has added a Krav Maga program. The instructor (who is a gracie black belt) really got into krav and been training all over the world and now teaching it. Just want to know if these certifications mean anything. Are they just weekend courses or are they actual really hard to get (is it equivalent to getting a black belt?).

Here's the bio: Krav Maga Alliance instructor course, IKI Instructor course, Israeli CT 707 krav systems course and the Lotar Close Quarters Combat Instructor course. He's trained extensively under Nir Maman.

I'm going to be checking it out. Just wondering if this sounds like good instructor experience (he's already an amazing BJJ teacher).
