    UFC 165

Alright alright alright in just six days we get the fight most have been waiting for. Jon Jones goes up against his first "fairly" matched opponent according to some. Will Gustuffson's size be too much for Jones? Will Jones's skill give us another devastating Jones win. That's two ppv in one month for me practicing kicking myself in the ass now in anticipation for my October tv bill. Here's the full line up.

    Main Card
    Weight class
Light Heavyweight Jon Jones (c) vs. Alexander Gustafsson
Bantamweight Renan Barão (ic) vs. Eddie Wineland
Heavyweight Brendan Schaub vs. Matt Mitrione
Middleweight Costa Philippou vs. Francis Carmont
Lightweight Pat Healy vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov
    Preliminary card (Fox Sports 1)
Lightweight Mike Ricci vs. Myles Jury
Bantamweight Ivan Menjivar vs. Wilson Reis
Welterweight Chris Clements vs. Stephen Thompson
Bantamweight Mitch Gagnon vs. Dustin Kimura
    Preliminary card (Facebook/Youtube)
Lightweight John Makdessi vs. Renee Forte
Lightweight Jesse Ronson vs. Michel Prazeres
Bantamweight Roland Delorme vs. Alex Caceres
Heavyweight Nandor Guelmino vs. Daniel Omielańczuk

What size advantage? Gustaffson is a bit taller (2 cm), but Jones' reach is much bigger than the blonde's, some 9 inches I believe. Still, I guess it's a novelty for Jones to fight someone so tall.

I'm looking forward to Barao-Wineland and Costa-Carmont, though I don't know who Carmont is.

I meant people claiming Jones has a size advantage and should move to Heavy weight. He's now matched with someone of equal size so what will people say now?

Jones' striking out classes Gustafsson's I think. He's more diverse, creative and unpredictable. I doubt it'll go to the ground, but both fighters have shown that they're not afraid to go there. Even in that regard I think Jones is still more aggressive on the ground and will come out on top. Pound him too.

Facebook prelims 5:15 central 6:15 eastern although I would advise you guy to watch on UFC's youtube page much better feed. It takes them a few minutes to get it up and running but you shouldn't miss any action if you wait.

no dude, his reach is only four or five inches greater. And his legs are only an inch longer. I say "only" compared to nine. We know this is a game of inches, so it is significant. More significant is the fact that Jones if completely bad as ****. Unpredictable striking and movement, awesome wrestling skills. I think he is the greatest fighter I have ever seen, in my humble, ignorant opinion.
