Found this on a Hungarian sports blog.
Here is my translation of the story:
"The match between the Croatian Vido Loncar and the Lithuanian Algirdas Baniulis at the junior European boxing championship lasted less then a minute.
The referee counted ten on the Croatian, then prepared to announce the end result, when something really unexpected happened. Loncar, who walked up to the referee already gloveless, at first didnīt shake hands with the referee, then simply knocked him out with a right hook.
The Lithuanian opponent left the ring, while Loncar jumped on the lying referee and proceeded to punch him. Finally two security personnel managed to stop the Croatian, who obviously went berserk, pulling him out of the ring by his feet.
Loncar did thus not only lose this match, he also has a good chance to think about his actions extensively: the European boxing federation will certainly ban him for a long time, if not permanently."
I don't clearly see why the referee counted the Croatian out, maybe some fellow boxers on here can clarify... Thanks.
Here's a link to the short Hungarian article on the topic, with video:

Oh, jeez. Just watched the video. Omega is right. Somebody got paid off, and good for the boxer for making the guy earn his money.

Given the speed with which the Lithuanian fled I think he expected to be knocked the **** out next.
