    "Clean" eating...

    ...is bullshit, that's right.

I found this interesting article, give it a read.

The third myth is that “unhealthy” foods directly damage your health. People tell you that you will suffer less damage from eating less of these foods — but they’re still bad for you in any amount.

However, because these foods only damage your body a little, you’re told it’s still normal and healthy to eat them. Here’s the issue: You’re not happy with normal.

You’re more obsessed with your health and fitness than other people. “Normal” now means being overweight or obese, and you don’t want a “normal” physique. Eating “less junk” means “zero junk” in your mind. If a food is bad — it’s bad — and you don’t want it in your body in any amount.

This is the most ridiculous and harmful misconception of “clean eating,” largely because it’s promoted by doctors and other health officials who people trust more than most.

If you don't mind me pointing out, "clean" foods are only bullshit in terms of macros.
You still need micronutrients (vitamins, minerals. Fibers aren't micros but help) from fruits and vegetables for general health.

Now if you take a multi for the easy way out, then yes, "clean" foods are bullshit.

Correlation is not causation. I'm guessing people who pay attention to what they eat are also paying attention to how much of it they eat, and probably also rack up more gym time.

This phobia of "bad food" has got to go.

Every food is potentially bad for you, now.

    Tuna? Mercury.

    Eggs? Cholesterol.

    Milk? Saturated fat.

    Bread? Glycemic load.

Brown bread? Doesn't matter, still has gluten.

Not to mention this **** about sodium.

It's getting real fucking ridiculous, guys.

The fitness industry is a real fucking crock of ****, man.

It's okay to enjoy "unhealthy" food on even a daily basis if you know what the **** you're doing and you know how to count your calories.

What about all the preservatives and nasty prepping we seen in a majority of our foods in America?

The foods that are bad for the teeth? the foods that actually HELP your body keep fat?

Even sugar wasn't around for THAT long... Sugar was consumed by us through fruit and that was seasonal! sugar it self causes stubborn fat, blood, and heart problems.

Eating foods that constantly detoxify, purify, and increase your athletic performance isn't a "clean way of eating"? some foods actually help burn fat...

I'm not saying to never eat hamburgers or enjoy a bowl of ice cream out with your buddies. Though "clean" eating should be called "good" eating.

Aesthetics alone is no reason to follow a particular diet, one needs to weigh the pros and cons. Our bodies need some fat, more so in women.

    Slippery slope?

I'm not suggesting eating icecream all the time, but if you have carbs to spare you can enjoy icecream daily and still be awesome at everything and "healthy" and ****.

    Steroids are completely different.
