    A very crazy choke out



    This is from the finals of the Boston Open this weekend. I've never seen a choke like this. Sinistro goes out while on the guys back. I'd ask him about it but I haven't seen him yet. What happened here?

    He gets the collar at 0:40, the sleepy guy disregards it to take the back, but he never lets go, gets his arm over the head, and affects a one-handed cross-collar choke.

    Kata Te Jime variation in Judo (Single Hand strangle). If you know what is commonly called a "loop choke" in BJJ, think "reverse loop choke", LOL.

    I have to admit I've never seen that before, quite interesting.
