UFC 164: Henderson vs Pettis - Aug. 31, 2013
Wow boys and girls we got fights on top of fights to look forward to over the next month and I'm not just talking about the UFC. However this thread will be for one of the most anticipated rematches in current MMA history. Will Benson point Pettis to death like everyone else? Will Pettis knock Benson the funk out? I'm about to pay 178 due to previous ppv's and I say I won't buy another one so soon but it's so easy to hit select on the remote... Anyway here's the line up hope you enjoy.

I know it may be a pipe dream but I am really hoping Mir can string together a few win and get at least one more good run at the title before he retires. As it is I feel hes going to be a gate keeper until he's done.

Anywho, I'm really excited for Porier vs Koch. I think Benson vs Pettis has the potential to be good, but we'll see.

Wooo Barnett wooo!
A very nice matchup between Cormier's previous victims. As much as I heart Barnett, I expect Mir to take it by decision. I do not think time has been kind to the Martial Artist Formerly Known As The Babyfaced Assassin and feel that Mir has more to offer at this point.
Still mad at Barnett for roiding out and not fighting Fedor back in the day, though.
Also, I would bump Rothwell vs Vera way off the main card. Neither of those gentlemen have been especially impressive as of late and it's a question whether they really belong in the UFC.

Ryan Couture needs to go back to the minor leagues. Gassed, flabby, and you can guess the rest don't want to spoil anyone.

I am a new fan of Al Iaquinta! Such a beast always coming forward and hitting hard! Disciplined striking hitting body and head.
Ryan Couture sure has some heart and can take punishment!

Good fight Chico guess I don't understand the point system cause I had him down 2. Lim made up for the other Korean loss another guy I'd never heard of can't wait to see more from him. Elliot dominated from start to finish can't wait for him to go against Demetrious Johnson one day. Varner had a heck of a comeback but sadly not enough I really want him to do well in the UFC.
