Yes through taxes, that is what I said? Did you misread or what is your question?

One can surely think of different reasons for being vague. Oh and you are telling me playing devil's advocate is not a legit discussion technique? I dont think I used it here though.

I have to admit that I still hope the people that suggested to deny obese people medical treatment were not fully serious.

Yes, the punctuation threw me off.

One can surely think of different reasons for being vague.
Of course, but not when you admit you want to see reactions instead of making a point.

I have no clue what you mean here as I only addressed being vague. I have no clue where you pulled out "Devil's advocate." That wouldn't be vague, you have a clearly delineated position.

Ah OK. By the way, feel free to correct any errors in my writing when you feel like it. I am always glad to learn.

And of course one wants to see reactions in a debate.

You accused me on being dishonest. Devil's advocate is a example of being dishonest while aiding the discussion.

Not sure where you're going with the gun thing, but you're way off on your insinuation about my morals. You have no idea how much money I give to what charities - to consider me immoral because I can't or won't do more is just trolling.

I never suggested they should be denied medical treatment. Let them have as much treatment for their self-induced condition that they can afford.

How much of the money they spent on gluttony during their entire wasted lives would have been better used on gym memberships, bicycles, thighmasters, etc.? Overeaters Anonymous is free, by the way...

Oh, I see, an equivocation attempt.

You accused me on being dishonest.
I accused you of trolling, there is a difference.

Devil's advocate is a example of being dishonest while aiding the discussion.
Nope, you are wrong. Your actions, while using the Devil's advocate, can make the discussion dishonest.

Holy crap I am actually going to try that. My weight loss progress has been slow and I fully attribute it to my sweet tooth a lack of self control. That being said I am still down 30lb from my heaviest.
