Thought you were using the video tags wrong but the following which should work doesn't for some reason:

I love that high grip when I throw this too. You just get great pull when you reach over like that. This has been one of my bread and butter throws for awhile now, and it is money against anyone with a bent over posture.

Argh sorry hit down arrow by mistake. Deashi and sasea have become very good weapons for me now. That high grip is a monster.

Do you think this would work with a 2-on-1 on that near sleeve? Big go-to grip for me... I don't see why it wouldn't, but am wondering if you have done this before.

I also hit deashi from there a lot, especially on wrestlers or BJJ guys.

It could. Issue is you have no control of the opposite side of his/her body. I experimented with it in Judo quite a bit. The timing has to be perfect with the two on one and uke has to be pretty clueless.

De Ashi Barai works better. It's tough to do on a decent judoka, though. There are some nice duck under Kata Guruma like options plus sutemi waza available too.
    Falling for Judo since 1980
