Long time reader, first time post.
I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on a good running app (Android) that'll help me to keep track of a few things? Namely, time, distance, calories burned, and a system whereas I can compete against myself.
I had been using the Nike running up until the latest update (where they have changed the screen lock set-up and the run finished button, where it won't register the slide). As it stands I can't use it without it either giving constant distance/time readouts or stopping my music at random on me.
Please note, I am not using a great smart phone, small screen, slow processor etc. It's a Smasung Galaxy Y(young). It was cheap and cheerful when I bought it.
Thanks for any help you can give.
PS. This site caused me to jump ship from Trad JuJutsu to Judo the second I got my Shodan(in JJJ), due to the enlightenment of alive training. Been training Judo since last Christmas and have loved/been shitless walking into every single training session. So Thanks BS!

I've been using RunKeeper for years, has always worked pretty well and it's very actively developed. They try to shove their 'Elite' features down your throat, but you don't need any of them.
Also, judo is win. Congrats on the switch.

Have been using sports tracker (http://www.sports-tracker.com/) and it is accurate and once on line account set up diary is good record of progress. And it's free.

CardioTrainer is pretty slick.
At least, it is when I use it once every six months.

Thanks for the recommendations. I've downloaded and installed Cardiotrainer and am going to go out and give it a try....once the rain stops!
