    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Are you diseased??

So now that the AMA has officially removed all personal responsibility from being fat the floodgates are open for the drug companies to offer a variety of new magic pills. Fucking hell what's next?? How about lazyness as a disease?? Well in a way that's pretty much what they have done with this ruling on obesity. So now it's not YOUR FAULT your fat it's because you're diseased. Nevermind your total lack of healthy eating or the fact that you never walk more than 15 feet in a day because its not at all your fault. I'm so fucking sick of societies desire to remove all personal responsibility from life. But now I guess we all get to pay for everyone's life choice.

So, if obesity is a disease, and my doctor proscribes exercise for me, will my insurance pay for my gym membership, or some new kettlebells?

Could I have possibly put more commas in that question?

Awesome...because American workers need additional reasons to file for disability.

    Our country is fucked.

Really? As dumb as it, let's not forget ALL OF THE MEDICAL expenses already lain at the feet of obesity. All the AMA did was recognize the BS they've been peddling for decades.

Unfortunately, it will be insurance fraud as soon as you ask that question.

Part of the problem is not just big pharma, but big Agri. If you aren't well off, it is hard to eat properly. Or, if you are stupid ass, lazy hick, you mail feel that it's un amurican to eat healthy, and you should be able to deep fry everything with, taters and have a big dessert. Or, if you are a libertarian, you feel that it is everyone's right to eat crap, and your all on your own, so **** you, but I digress. Don't get me started on how few options there are to eat healthy in the inner city. ****, it's hard to eat healthy in the suburbs sometime.

How so? Insurance companies recommend preventive care and maintenance. This actually could be a very interesting turn of events. Hell, my health insurance gives discounts, does raffles and other things for you to stay healthy.
