You need to watch it with sound. The circlejerk applause and MMA discussion are the best parts.

It doesn't bother me much either, but a lot of people find it unbearable. Unreliable.

Breaking a closed guard by digging an elbow into the thigh?

    Clearly black-belt level instruction...

[QUOTE/] So, I started writing this as a LOL krotty YMAS post, but as I dug deeper I'm thinking that maybe this warrants a MABS investigation.[/QUOTE]

Investigating a dojo full of fat clumsy people wearing black belts is like investigating McDonalds for serving unhealthy food. The people who are gonna eat there are gonna eat there. And the people who aren't don't need to be told munching on bacon double cheeseburgers will turn you into a fat ass.

I think that first video is from the World Martial Arts Association headed by Mike Dealy (who's been talked about here before). You can basically buy dans hence so many 4th, 5th, 6th degree belts. The youtube channel is great fun to watch (though it may have recently been made private).

    Few examples

    Hard sparring with the grandmaster

    6th Degree's practicing!

    6th degree group sparring?

I was more concerned with listing MMA and BJJ on their video description than their krotty bullshit. Also, Judo. I was expecting to find false claims of rank, but it looks like there aren't any.

Holy ****, the technique on those kicks puts Andy Hug to shame.

Seriously, the balding guy on the right is struggling to lift his leg above the knee.
