I haven't seen any wire-fu in the trailer.

I wonder how much intentional irony is involved in the making of this movie...

There is much joy to be found between MMA and Tai Chi. All it takes is pressure, and time.

I don't know enough about Tai Chi to comment on that dude's skills but his attitude in the voice over makes me think he's a pretty solid dude to train under (assuming Tai Chi is what you're after and not REAL ULTIMATE DEADLY).

I know **** all about Tai Chi (other than what a girl I used to bang who did it told me) but I really don't buy that 'mound of belly muscle' thing. Hypertrophied abdominal muscles don't look like that. Dudes who squat heavy will get 'lifting gut' as their core gets stronger but it doesn't look like a beer guy. And that's not where your diaphragm is, either.

Wow. Way to credit the wrong guy.

    You mean Yuen Woo Ping:

Who is also the choreographer for this movie.

He doesn't look like a beer guy to me. I'm also pretty sure he used his diaphragm, unless you have an alternate explanation that involves chi magic?

You must know more than I do about Daoist alchemy.
