    Most of us have seen that krotty move where, upon realizing you are about to take a roundhouse kick, you step in and push their leg away by contacting the inner thigh with your knee. I was sparring this kid when I took kempo who was vastly faster than I. I throw random techniques like that to distract but also on the tiny chance it will work. It did, and I followed up with a punch so hard he was convinced I kicked him.
