While working security/bouncing I have taken guys to the ground on purpose and have survived quite nicely. All my RBSD freinds say I should not have survived. With all the broken glass, floor debris and others trying to kick me in the head.(sarcasm)

While sparring in kendo one day I hooked a toe in the hem of my hakama (happens to all of us) and went for a header. I executed a perfect rolling breakfall, while wearing armour, came up to my feet facing my opponent who was standing there, slackjawed. So I hit him.

Judowise as a kid I pulled off kane-basami in randori. Twice.

I caught the best guy in my BJJ club with the gayest sweep last night. I don't know if it has a name but basically you're sat in butterfly guard and he stands square in front of you, butt-scoot forward and hook your insteps behind his ankles and push on their knees.

I giggled like a schoolgirl while he beat the **** out of me for the rest of the round.

I'm drunk after my brother's wedding in PA five or so years back, and his buddy from his 1st college was there (best man). He was a wrestler, and we were talking martial arts, while we drank wine with the grown ups :)

At the very end of the night, in the hallway outside my room, he randomly decided to test my takedown defense.

For some reason, though I wasn't sober at all, that fucker simply couldn't fell me. He did push me back 10-15 feet on the carpet several times trying, but no deal.

He went back to his room impressed, and so did I.

I once had a reverse triangle/armbar combo on Sirc. He tried to kick up and I grabbed his foot and proceeded to knee bar him against his arm while at the same time extending his arm.

Armbar/Kneebar/Triangle combo. Shouldn't have worked, but it did.
