Lost our best broody bantam to the neighbors dog. Now they're backing out of replacing her, but thats a different story...

Yeah, the easiest way is definitely using a broody hen. They do all the work. And it is a lot better when they keep the chicks instead of you having to keep them in a brooder and then ween them to the outdoor climate.

I have lost chickens to a neighbor's dog too. But they give us free honey from their bees, so I let it ride.

I have a bit of a sword collection too. Used to have a bunch of crappy Chinese swords from my kung fu days, but sold them at the swap meet.

From top pic, starting at top: custom claymore I call "Helmhalver", Cold Steel Norman sword, Filipino kris I won at a stickfighting tournament, Guatemalan Corneta machete, 2 knockaround full tang swords ground from crappy sword blades, Cold Steel butterfly swords

I use to have a very nice sword and knife collection mostly cause I got the stuff super cheap because I worked at a wholesale place especially that decorative crap that United Cutlery makes.

    What a coincidence.

I've been trying to downsize my own collection for years.

Let me know if you're interested, and what kind.

    Can be mailed, faxed, whatever.

I make Absinthe, collect ex-wives and roast coffee as my hobbies these days. I play with carpentry and wood carving so I have a small collection of various wooden objects to beat people with, both the playful and the asskicking styles of beatings.

I've been going to school for gunsmithing on the weekends for the past couple years. The weekend program at my school is four years long and I'm about halfway through the program.

    So, guns.

Fun fact. When I was about 12 years old or so I used to help a certain relative tend his liquor still. True story.
