    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Are these school legit/serious?

I've always been a martial arts fan but I'm no longer a gullible kid. I have caught on the bs of many traditional martial arts. I just wanted to ask if anybody know anything about a Julio Ferrer. He has a renton washington wing chun school. Who is this guy? Or does anybody have any other info on any kung fu schools in renton or in the whole state of washington? Are these schools just all money motivated and scamming nerdy people who never actually had the balls to get in a real fight? Just asking. Be honest!

    G'day heavyhanded, welcome to BUllshido,

Be sure to read the stickies before posting in the different forums, they are the ones titled 'Heavyhanded! READ ME!' and contain the guidelines and rules for each forum.

You're question is quite a common one and one which is best placed in Newbie town (don't start a new thread, a mod will move it to the right forum shortly).

Haha, no not at all, just in the wrong spot (happens a lot, so don't sweat it).

I'm sure someone will be along shortly who better knows the local scene there. In the mean time, did you want to expand on your martial arts background for the benefit of respondents?

No, you just said it in the wrong place.

As for Ferrer, I just Googled him. I don't know enough about Wing Chun to say whether he's a good instructor or not, but at least he is up front about his lineage and understands that Wing Chun is better understood as a tool for health and enrichment than a deadly fighting style. That much is good news. If you're interested in Wing Chun, you could probably do much worse. Anything more specific I'll leave to the kung fu guys here.
