Pretty sure I'm still banned from MartialTalk for posting it a couple of years ago.

I'd have to reword this for MAP. I've been banned for less. Besides I like to think that posts like this have the potential to affect a deluded lurker more than the typical "LOL TMA" jokes.

All I see here is an MMA meathead trying to reinforce his delusions of baddassery. I don't care what rationalizations you can come up with. The proof is in the pudding, UFC 159 showed that MMA is worthless in real life confrontations. Your training isn't **** compared to Aikido, Krav Maga, and other military styles like what the marines train. I don't mean to sound cocky, but I'm tired of reading **** that trashes on realistic TMA arts and RBSD. You ****** fucking assholes need to learn how to put your egos away and speak with respect and maturity.

True story: A friend of mine who was a camo sash in Eagle kung-fu once went to a UFC tryout and fought some of the top prospects in the sport. He practically tore their skin off, but didn't get accepted because the promoters "didn't like his style." The guys he beat are now some of the UFC's top fighters. The truth is that if you get someone like me or my friend in the Octagon, we'd be disqualified in less than a second for landing a million illegal hits. My friend is 5'2" and 110 lbs, and he could take out the fucking heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar in one shot to the neck. So could I, although it wouldn't be as impressive because I''m a little bigger :) (5'5" and 430 lbs, in case you were wondering).

And don't think I don't have any real world experience, either. About three years ago in Baltimore I was jumped in a second story McDonald's by a construction worker who was obviously amped up with cocaine. An MMA guy would've been fucked in this situation because the ground was covered in broken glass and legos (They were a Happy Meal prize). The dude backed me into a corner and took a swing at me. Do you know how I responded? I didn't go for an armbar. I didn't pull mount. I didn't bother with any of that queer, useless MMA crap. Instead, I dodged his punch and hit him with a picture perfect Five Swords strike.

When the police woke me up, he was gone. Victory, mine.

So today class we are going to learn how to defend against someone who throws a punch and leaves it out and waits patiently for you to hit him 5 times. Don't worry about it after you spend $10,000 with me I will show you how to enter "bullet time" so that you can actually pull this maneuver off in the time it would take for it to actually work.

I like your optimism. It is still 90/10 in the negative. Contrary to popular belief, there are multiple threads, on bullshido, with no "LOL TMA" jokes and people still scream "OMG SPORT IS ****."
