Work on recovering guard and then using it. That way even if she doesn't nail it, it's no big deal.

We used to try for a monkey throw on a failed tomonage. (both feet in the guts) You could drill that. It might get the kiddy in closer to make the monkey throw workWhitsunday Martial Arts Airlie Beach North Queensland.

Honestly, I think having a strong and comfortable open guard improves your sacrifice throws; I've definitely noted that a lot of BJJ guys who convert over to judo tend to pick up sacrifice techniques much more quickly and naturally than others.The fool thinks himself immortal,
If he hold back from battle;
But old age will grant him no truce,
Even if spears spare him.

He seemed to know what he was doing on the ground, but I knew enough to prevent him doing it quickly, which meant if I ever got uncomfortable on the ground I could get us stood up again, no problem. I think the difference in ability needs to be huge if you want to have a good chance of finishing from an open guard.
Basically, if you're going to do judo and your plan is to go for sacrifice throws and rely on your open guard, you're going to have a bad time.
I think sacrifice throws have their place, but unless you have a few good standing throws you can use without causing a break in the action, it's probably not time to start training the sacrifice throws seriously.

I would penalize such actions as false attacks personally - this is assuming the guy had no intent to throw and was just using half-assed sutemi-waza to pull guard.
