That's when you switch your grip, to push upwards with the supporting hand? He dropped to the floor right after that. It was a lovely sub.
Yeah, I really like that variation. I'm not a fan of the traditional "pull upwards" guillotine that I had originally learned. On the ground, I do the oblique crunch and standing, I go for the McKenzie or the ten-finger guillotine.

It only takes a few seconds for a blood choke to KTFO someone who is not running on a full tank. Royce Gracie taught me this, because he was the first person I ever saw hold someone in guard for 10+ minutes or longer, and then suddenly choke and win so fast you could blink and miss it.
He definitely was feeling tired by the time I went for it, though I didn't honestly expect it to work. I was thinking he'd peel it off and I'd knee him in the head, but he hardly resisted so I switched the grip and it was a wrap!

As for the blood choke and passing out thing...that reminds me of this roll I had with my instructor. It was intense and my blood was rushing...then he put me in a collar choke and I went out before I could even tap. lulz

I +repped OP, but because Bobby wants us to post, too, here's the love: great fight, Kin. Congrats on your successes to date, and those sure to come.

Strikistanian needs a pro fighter tag.

Every time the discussion of whether Bullshido should sponsor big name fighters comes up, I always point out that we have fighters here that we have our own fighters here, like Kin, we should focus on helping get their start in MMA.

    Exactly.

We could set up a training camp fund for Kin (or others), possibly. Perhaps a "fighter sponsor" tag or something could accompany donations.

Getting subbed via guillotine verses Kin at an early throwdown, allowed me to know how to later survive a neck crank with ill intent by a larger opponent in a str33t situation.

Mark my words, should I find my success, I'll actively work to further/support his career, in any way that I can.

I'm wondering if Kin could outline his training regimen for us.
