    Greatest Superhero Movie Fight Scenes

I found this old list I made in a pile of other assorted lists I've made over the years (I used to jot down random lists during lunch at school while furtively glancing at other students. I'm really good at amusing myself). I wasn't sure where to post this, but I figure every here is into beating people up and watching other people beat people up. So here you go, feel free to make some additions of your own:

    10. Superman vs. Evil Superman from Superman III

This fight proves that good is better than evil, but only if good can be more violent than evil. Clark Kent should've gone with an RNC.

    9. Randy Savage vs. Spider-man from Spider-man

I was thinking about writing a movie where Randy Savage, Bruce Campbell, and Spider-man all appear in the same scene. And then I found this scene again, and remembered how generous God can be sometimes.

    8. Crow vs. Tin-Tin from The Crow

    7. Batman vs. The Black Guy in Sunglasses from Batman

Batman has a Hell of a manly grip with his legs. I bet he trains with Minoru Suzuki in the states.

    6. Darkman vs. Louis Strack from Darkman

I can only post five videos per post, so give me a second.

    5. Brass knuckle hobo beatdown from Boy Wonder

I found Boy Wonder on Netflix and it was bonersmashing great. I can't find the specific scene, but just be aware that the main character does in fact beat a homeless man to death on a subway at one point.

    4. The Punisher vs. Bleach-headed Kevin Nash playing a Russian in The Punisher

    3. The Toxic Avenger taco restaurant fight from Toxic Avenger

    2. Bruce Willis vs. Maintenance Man from Unbreakable

    1. Hollis Mason vs. the Knot Tops in The Watchmen Ultimate Cut

I'm a little tired right now (It's 3 a.m. where I live), otherwise I'd add a lttle more commentary. In particular, I'd like to do an in-depth analysis of the three goons from the Toxic Avenger fight (Frank, Leroy, and Rico).

Thanks for the heads up on Boy Wonder - that one passed me by.

Personally I'm a big fan of Mr. Wesley "some motherfuckers always trying to ice skate uphill" Snipes in Blade.

I read up on that Boy Wonder movie on IMDB. It sounds like something I'd enjoy, I'm going to look for it at Jumbo today.

Damn, that was a poignant take on the "life flashing before your eyes" trope.

I was a little disappointed with this because Tom Hardy really talked up Bane's fighting style and made me expect the fights were going to be unique. All we really got was the typical Monster Heel no-sell from Bane and an hilarious attempt at a war cry from Batman. I don't rank it as a bad fight, though, because there was some cool exposition and Bane did his backbreaker. Plus it didn't have the fucking shakey-cam thing that plagued Batman Begins and a fuckton of other American made action movies in recent years.

Some honorable mentions for the list:

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs. The Foot Clan in April's home from the first Ninja Turtles movie:

The Avengers vs. the Hulk in Ultimate Avengers:

This one was great, but I was only thinking of live-action movies when I made the list.

You forgot Superman 2 with all of the city destruction and Frisbee toss manhole cover.

    I now hate your thread.
