Last night, while everyone watched the UFC's over-hyped, non-competitive, man-hugging competition, another fight that was altogether better. It had no hype, no buzz, no talk. In years to come, this will be the fight we all talk about.
im gonna say that it probably wont be, actually. youre still a douche btw.

    NO U, cocksucker.

    Spoiler:
Ugh, I really didn't appreciate Bradley's Sitdown Time Theft in the last round.

*SIGH* I... My heart wants to give Ruslan the decision. Sure, Bradley landed way more and controlled the fight in the majority of the rounds but was Ruslan ever really hurt? Conversely when Ruslan hurt him, he was... hurt badly!

Hell, if you score rounds 1,2,6,12 as 10-8, and you can make a case for that, then Ruslan takes it.

[Boxing] Timothy Bradley vs Ruslan Provodnikov - Mar 16, 2013

Last night, while everyone watched the UFC's over-hyped, non-competitive, man-hugging competition, another fight that was altogether better. It had no hype, no buzz, no talk. In years to come, this will be the fight we all talk about.

What fight you ask? Timothy Bradley vs. Ruslan Provodnikov. And before you say anything else, take a moment out of your day and watch this fight.

Both these men are warriors. They put up with hellacious punishment because their heart had no quit.

Bradley, in particular, showed me that he doesn't deserve any of the hate directed to him after Pacquiao-Bradley. He's got more drive, determination, and just no quit.

As for Provodnikov, he proved that he can be a main event fighter. Everyone loves a come forward slugger with one punch power. Everyone loves an underdog who shows up to win.

This was one for the ages. If you cannot love this fight, you have no soul!

    Spoiler:
It's highly irregular to score a round as 10-8 if there's no knockdown. Essentially, the only conditions in which a round is scored 10-8 without a knockdown is either if a point is deducted or if the round is so totally one-sided that a knockdown might as well have happened.

That said, here's how I initially scored the fight:

    R1: Provodnikov 10-8
    R2: Provodnikov 10-9
    R2: Bradley 10-9
    R4: Bradley 10-9
    R5: Bradley 10-9
    R6: Provodnikov 10-9
    R7: Bradley 10-9
    R8: Bradley 10-9
    R9: Bradley 10-9
    R10: Bradley 10-9
    R11: Bradley 10-9
    R12: Provodnikov 10-8

    I scored it 115-113 Bradley.

However, this morning I re-watched fight again and gave R11 to Provodnikov. So with a second vewing, I scored it at 114-114 draw.

The fight was pretty damn fantastic. It was just as good as Rios-Alvarado I last year, and easily eclipsed Salido-Lopez II.
