Nick is also a shitty employee. If he worked for me, and said the same stuff about me, that he said about Dana and the UFC, I would fire him. And the funny thing about that is, the same thing I tell people at my work all the time: if you don't like the conditions, and you don't like the politics, QUIT. Otherwise, shut the **** up about it.

He bites the hand that feeds him, disrespects the fans by not showing to public interviews and training, and disrespects the promoters by saying a bunch of bullshit. If that's keeping it real, fine. But I would still fire is real ass.

Never cared for Nick. Great skills though. I'm for GSP. It'll probably go the distance unless stopped by massive trauma-like lacerations. I don't think Diaz is bad for MMA. He like the rest of us has his cross to bear.

So we're accepting the notion that there must be some drama, some ****-talking, some weigh-in shenanigans, some good-guy-bad-guy cinema and so on? Such things are needed for pro MMA to get and/or retain enough of a following to prosper?

I do like to get a feel for the personality of a fighter, it kinda simulates the excitement of watching a friend fight.

I don't know if I would say Diaz is 'bad' for mma or the ufc. He probably sells tickets ( well who are we kidding..we know he sells tickets). But to outsiders looking in, he certainly reinforces every stereotype that comes to mind.
Having said that...I don't mind when guys play the bad boy role. But Diaz's comments prior to tonight about being a ghetto tough and blah blah blah...it just came off as really desperate. He knows he isn't. On George's league professionally or athletically, so he goes off on this fucking rant to compensate.
