I love how the guy whose big thing is "keeping it real" has half a million excuses every time he loses.

yeah, at least he tried to be gracious in defeat, which again shows how most of this is bs, as he's said previously himself.

Until the post-show press conference, anyway.

Yeah, I like Hendrix too. That was a good fight. I think I liked the prelims better than the PPV event, again. But what can you do.

didnt see that one, was already 6 a.m. here.
Nick goes full on when the press is around, both Diaz brothers seem after a fight generally pretty respectful, well... considering anyway.

GSP did a great job of controlling range with that jab and taking down at will.

    Condit fucking brings it!
    Great chin as well.

Seriously though, Diaz may be a dimwit, but you can't deny that the wrestlers have an advantage and it doesn't make the show any better.
So you get points for top control and takedowns, but are you the better fighter when you do?

Anyway I want a Diaz Condit rematch, with less at stake it, it might be the fight we'd expected the first time.

I agree the persistent takedown and top control strategy is boring to watch, but yes I think it makes them the better fighter if their opponent can't stop it. Motherfuckers should learn to wrestle if they don't like it, I guess.

I feel like GSP is nearing the end of his title reign though. As dominant as he was against Diaz, he just doesn't seem quite the same - specifically his ability to take punishment. Diaz hurt him a couple times, even with limited opportunities to get off strikes.

And his chin is about to be tested in a major way. I don't think GSP can withstand the kind of strikes Condit took from Hendricks.

Man, Condit vs Hendricks was indeed awesome. Too bad the rest of the main card was pretty underwhelming, save Ellenberger's knockout.

Not if the point is to submit or knock an opponent out.
There's a reason there's a time limit to pins as in wrestling, sambo or whatever.
Condit came closer to finishing Hendrix than vice versa, so you could say he was winning the fight.

No don't think so either, one of the best chins in MMA...
