We've come a long way, baby. But somehow along the way, we picked up a lot of baggage.
Simply put: the people who possess this character flaw owe their existence to those who do not. Without the efforts of those who struggled to bring the human race out of caves, scavenging for food, none of its members would be around to feel entitled to a warm house and a fully belly.

We are also the only species of animal that actively betters ourselves beyond what evolution provides. Most animals are content with their status quo, when is the last time you saw a wolf doing push-ups?? Although I do get the point of the post that we should work for what we get rather than bitch about what we should have given to us.

True, but we have the ability to adapt beyond the limits of evolution. We don't have to wait for a thicker coat of fur to get warm, we can make a fire. Of kill a wolf and steal his fur. Evolution provided us in part the ability to do this, but unlike most animals we have also helped to shape that evolution.

"You tell them a lie,and when you dont need it anymore you tell them another lie and tell them they´re progressing along the road to wisdom. Then instead of laughing they follow you even more, hoping at the heart of all the lies they´ll find the truth. And bit by by they accept the unnaceptable."

I don't know about this. I think, for example, injured veterans are in fact entitled to preferential treatment. They've earned it even though they often no longer have the capacity to fight for each meal. Entitlement is not a bad thing by itself, but only when it's earned.
Should someone that dived under a german tank and got both legs blown off in defense of his country not feel entitled to having the society he defended provide him food and shelter if he can no longer do so?
