I think Lyoto will tear Hendo apart.

And I love Hendo, I just think he's too slow and too flat footed to deal with someone like Machida. Hoping for a good fight though!

Anyone actually think Carmouche might pull it off?
I think the Women's division will be around for a while, even if Rousey loses. Everything Dana does is a calculated business decision, and I'm sure he's accounted for the current lack of available fighters.

Machida, Menjivar and Koscheck to win.

Machida will pick him apart....I don't think Henderson has the speed anymore. He's proven me wrong before though, but I think Machida by UD.

Anything's possible but I wouldn't bet anything I had any attachment to on her. Rousey by some sort of sub (I'm thinking she'll switch it up this time) early in the 1st.

It would be pointless for UFC to announce a women's division with no plan past a rousey loss. I think women's mma will have a permanent place in the UFC. Looking forward to machida vs hendo but cannot wait for an elit level judoka to do what an elit level judoka does inside the cage, which is making people fly!

I actually wrote a long reply at the UG (which got moved or deleted or something) to someone who asked this question.

It boiled down to: Carmouche usually swings her way into the clinch and then dirty boxes her way to a take down and tries to finish with ground and pound/sub. I think Rousey is stronger/better in the clinch.

Carmouche is naturally talented, but usual style plays into Ronda's strengths/gameplan. If Carmouche has gotten good enough on the feet to stay outside and strike, she has a chance. We don't really see enough of Ronda's hands to know if all that time spent with high level boxers has paid off so I have no idea how a standup war would play out.

But, I suspect Ronda will be claiming another arm. The level of experience and time put into her craft is just so far above the rest of her competition at this point.

I don't make "picks" but I'll be rooting for Hendo. He may be my favorite currently active fighter, along with Nick Diaz (say what you will, but he entertains me). In my perfect world Hendo will win by KO, and then move on to KO Jones. Also several other people before retiring at the age of 55.

I don't see how the karate kid could possibly win against Hendo. I see Lyoto getting holes punched completely through him.
