I am realy looking forward to seeing Ronda tear Carmouches arm off and beating her over her head with it.

I think a female TUF could be interesting... I have faith in the UFC's ability to build women's MMA. Looking at their past successes and the building of their brand, I don't see them taking anything less than a serious approach to this. Time will tell I suppose...

Except for the rematch. Rather, rematches.

Currently the UFC's problem, it seems to me, is recruiting women who currently fight under other banners--Sara McMann, Marloes Coenen, and Cris Cyborg, for instance. These women put on good fights and could all give Ronda a run for her money.

It would be interesting to see what happens if Dana does not have a marketable face(read:hot) woman headlining the division. Pre Ronda he didn't give a **** about women's mma. If its Cyborg or Carmouche or someone less sexified I'd be curious to see if he pushes it as much.

He didn't care when Carano was leading the way. I honestly think good, exciting fights will be far more important (especially in the long run) in building the new Women's division in the UFC. Maybe I'm naive, but I'm a fan of MMA, and I'll watch women or men fight, as long as the fights are entertaining.

But he didn't think of Carano as a fighter...just an attractive female who happened to do MMA. Rousey is the best of both worlds. I don't think Cyborg would get the same push.

Personally I think with Carmouche and Rousey both having such intriguing backstories, no matter how the fight turns out it will be good for women's mma, assuming Dana and Zuffa continue to promote and build the brand.

But, will we ever see a Women's Heavyweight division?
