    What was the title?

    'Most Photogenic Fighter'?
Considered in the abstract the boxing ring is an altar of sorts, one of those legendary spaces where the laws of a nation are suspended: inside the ropes, during an officially regulated three-minute round, a man may be killed by his opponent's hands but he cannot be legally murdered. Boxing inhabits a sacred space predating civilization; or, to use D.H. Lawrence's phrase, before God was love. If it suggests a savage ceremony or a rite of atonement it also suggests the futility of such gestures. For what possible atonement is the fight waged if it must shortly be waged again... and again? The boxing match is the very image, the more terrifying for being so stylized, of mankind's collective aggression; its ongoing historical madness.

    Fake as hell.

Its why i turned down a fight in Thailand. If it is against a Thai he'll either have 200 fights and kick your arse or be someone paid to take a dive to make your holiday more memorable.

Exactly, there is good business in racking wins in Thailand if you are a MT coach. And a lot of poor Thai folks that will take dives for cash.
Though it could have been a flash KO. If said Thai already had a concussion..or a glass jaw.. It looks fake, but will be hard to prove.

Pretty much this. If you're a foreigner "fighting" a Thai, I'd say there's a 90 percent chance it's bunk. The Thais know too, which is why the guy taking the dive didn't even bother to do it convincingly, and the ref waved it off without counting or actually checking to see if he was out. The only person in that place who thought it was a real fight was the guy in the red corner.

Come on. I've seen some funky-looking KOs, but never one where the guy has to remember to fall over after the punch.
