How to defend your teacher

Wanted to post this for ages and now's the time. Why do so many people try and defend your teacher when:

a) You don't know **** about your art or your teacher?
b) You don't know **** about martial arts other than anime?
c) You don't know how to construct a logical argument?

Example (made up but not too far off previous threads):

Person A) "My daddy's a ninja".
Person B) "No he's not - he's never even been to Japan".
Person A) "Here's his passport - see, he went there last week".
Bullies) "That doesn't prove he's a ninja".
Person C) "Hey, I train with daddy. He's the real deal. See, you've got proof".
Bullies) "That's not proof he's a ninja".
Person C) "But his cock tastes so good, he must be teh realz".

Thanks Mr Miyagi. Not culled from anything, just a general observation of what I've been reading lately inNewbietown / YMAS. This site has the best put-downs, and is like one of those "insult a day" desk calendars. Just after some more, I guess.
