Barao sure put on a display of techniques. I say that not just because I train at a Nova Uniao gym. He was stumbled a bit in the first but maintained high accuracy as McDonald rushed in. I've been a fan of Michael McDonald ever since I've seen his first fight in the UFC and still look forward to more.

James Te-Huna has a pretty good chin.
Che Mills got owned by Matthew Riddle's wrestling. Just like Rory Macdonald.

Cub Swanson had some brutally telegraphed wide shots that a better striker would have countered to great effect. Maybe he's been sparring with Leonard Garcia a bit too much. Dustin Poirier disappoints again.

Anyone see how Diabate's leg got hurt? He didn't really take any bad kicks, and the replay of the one takedown didn't make it very clear.

Man, Watson's use of the Thai clinch was on point. Swanson vs Porier was pretty great, as was the main event.

i found the main event kinda dull tbh. cub vs poirer was the highlight for me. and james te hunas chin, that guy is a monster. fucking good wrestling for a kiwi too, since wrestling is basically unheard of in NZ.

Just got to see some more of the fights. Swanson is going to get spanked by better strikers. He's got power for sure, but he's sloppy and his defense isn't good. He gets hit way too much to fight with his hands at his waist. Siver probably would have whooped him if he'd been able to make the fight, to say nothing of what Aldo will do to him(again).
