Hi Mortalglenn, just quickly, this isn't the right sub forum to post this in, if you post in this part of bullshido you need to come with specific facts and proof, criteria which this post do not meet. Not a big problem, because it seems like an interesting discussion to have, but it will be moved to a different sub forum.
My advice before posting any new threads is to read the Stickies, which are the threads at the top of the forums that say "READ ME MORTALGLENN", they will give you the rules of the sub forum you are posting in, as well as hints and tips as to the culture of the site that will help you not get reamed by posters, including myself, because we can be a vicious bunch some times. -

Was this at East West Martial Arts? I trained there for a few months several years ago. I don't think I met Fiorenzi, but the guys I trained with seemed pretty good. It sounds like things may have changed there quite a bit though, because in my experience it was very informal and not mystical at all.

Also, if you're looking in Canton, Don Daly at Maxx Force Fitness is a really cool guy to train with. He's a purple belt and emphasizes MMA a little more than BJJ, but he knows a lot. Here's the site: http://maxxforcefitness.com/

Ryan Fiorenzi and Robert Brown : bad partnerships for good BJJ guys?
