Hey guys, I hope we get a full contingent of Bullies!

In order for you to get the 25% discount, you need to contact me BEFORE you register so I know who you are. I think it is best to start a list here of who will attend. AND you need to register before February 10th to get your discount!

Also, the info posted above is from an earlier press release and is out of date.
So, please note that the early-registration rate is no longer in effect. Also, as the UFC on Fuel is in the afternoon from London, we will not be viewing that (though we will all be going out after the first night).

Most importantly, we have MANY VIPs that will be in attendance aside from Trainer/Referee Rob Hinds and Bellator's Sean Wheelock (not to mention Bullshido's own Phrost and Tom Kagan). NYS Athletic Commissioner Melvina Lathan, Mohegan Tribe Athletic Commissioner Michael Mazzulli, UFC Fighter and TUF Finalist Al Iaquinta, Veteran Referee "Big" Dan Mirgliotta, and more.

If you are going to stay at the hotel, you may still be able to get a group rate. They had extended the deadline to January 31st. If you book a room, let them know you are with the "Martial Arts Group" and ask if you can still get a group rate.

This weekend is shaping up to be more than just a training. It will be a mini MMA Convention. I highly encourage you to come! You will likely not find a better price for what you will get (By comparison, Big John McCarthy charges $500 for either the single judge or ref course).

Assuming you complete each course and pass the exam, you will get your ABC certification as a ref, judge, or both. After that, if you hope to work in a state or tribal region where MMA is overseen by an athletic commission (most of them), you will need to apply for a license (ref or judge) with the commission. We will point you to the right people. After that you will need to shadow current officials for a period of time before you can work events.

Even if you are not planning to officiate anywhere, this course is very beneficial for journalists, coaches, and fighters...and even fans. You are the guys who need to know the sport inside and out. This weekend is where you will get that knowledge!

So, what bullies will be in attendance besides Phrost and Tom Kagan?

Gentlemen, if you like watching two guys beat the holy hell out of each other, and can observe nut shots, eye pokes, illegal fish hooks, etc. This is a HELL of an opportunity for you.

As long as you are FIT not FAT, understand how to unwind a move, to save a fighter and as long as you have the ability to show maneuvers on how the most common submissions are applied and unwound, take some time and come and enjoy a great weekend of work.

Your personal martial arts will benefit, and once you are licensed and trained you may be asked to travel in your area, and if stay dedicated- perhaps the upper levels will begin to see you, ask for you and use you in some shows.

Go to the ABC Convention, email Big John and Herb and Steve Maz, and get noticed. The sport is desperate for those who have the experience, training and are well respected in the sport as fighters safety and careers are at stake.

You cant put a price on this training, it is the best experience EVER!

So if you can make it, take the time and improve yourself, the sport and the future of MMA!
