    The Guard Slam

Now, I am sure that any practitioner of a martial focused on grappling has experienced an interesting phenomenon while rolling with wrestlers. I like to call this phenomenon "The guard slam." At the point where the wrestker is in your guard(and chances are you will be, but its a "neutral" position, so what)there is a large chance that he, being a wrestling, will regain footing. Then he will pick you up very quickly and slam you on whatever surface you are fighting on.

    Counters please?

Secret moves such as hitting a thing with your hand and hitting a thing with your leg have been stolen and degenerated by arts like karate, boxing, muay-thai, Kung-fu, and basketball. -Epicurious

I figure fighting a group of chunners would be like water torture, its not the force as such, just the constant trickle of chain punches wearing down your sanity. -The Juggernoob

No, you open your guard then either sweep him or kick him. If your kicks make him back away from you, get up yourself.

    Or sweep, or leg lock/
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.

Open your guard, and pick both of his ankles.

Look up and let him tire himself out by repeatedly slamming you on your head.

...or go for a guillotine when both of his hands are occupied grabbing you...

...or go for an omo plata arm lock...

...or go for a double arm bar...
