How do video (and get the most benefit to your training out of it)

There's usually at most one guy resting each round, so they'd have to change over each time. Also it kind of makes it very obvious the camera is there, and I don't think the coach would like that.

As a yellow belt you look a lot better than that brown belt who seems to only be able to attempt makikomi on a white belt.

Loads of people in those videos are wearing the wrong belt. I'm a green belt, but I left mine at home that day. One of the white belts is a blue, but also forgot his. (I got into the spare kit locker first and nabbed the higher belt.) The brown belt is supposedly a second dan, his mum posted over the wrong kit from France. I agree he spams the makkikomi too much, but it's not really my place to say it to him.

Some of the white belts there speak Russian as a first language and have wrestling experience, but we have no wrestling club.

OK, makes more sense you are a sankyu not a rokkyu/gokkyu.

He's a nidan? From France? Maybe he was just fooling around.

And of course you don't need to say anything to him, wasn't suggesting you do. I'm a sandan so I can be snarky, LOL!

I've actually been at this since 2007... I think. In 2011 I smashed up my shoulder pretty bad, and it never really healed properly, which meant that I had to switch to southpaw and change a lot of the way I fight. Also in those videos I was trying out hiza guruma which isn't a throw I normally use. Thought I probably don't look much better when I'm trying to use my A game.
