    It's not just the USAF.

Some of the branches vary their weight/body fat/BMI max based on age.

The Navy requires someone 74" tall to be under 211 lbs.

On the other hand, the max weight for new USMC recruits is between 240 and 246 lbs, and 214 lbs for after entry.

    I need advice about running

Keep your pace easy - you should be able to hold a conversation in short sentences. Be careful how quickly you ramp up mileage - getting hurt due to too much volume sneaks up on you.

Lie to yourself. Once you're starting to get tired you need to set short goals like, "I only have to keep running to that third lamp post there then I'll take a break and walk for a bit..." Then once you get there, lie again, "I made it to the third lamp post and I'm still running... I only have to make it to that stop light up there and then I get to take a break."

You might find the following useful.

It is geared up around people increasing their mileage for "fun runs" up to marathon but it is good to base a running training program. I've used them in the best to increase my distance/speed for races.

Do you mean your total for the week or you ran 14.75 miles in one run ?
