Your right.I have always found watching ballet technique very graceful. The circle work is elegant. The appeal of using anothers strength and momentum against them certainly can be effective. I think there is something in ballet like every martial art that you can take away and add to your game.
I would rather fight an Aikido dude than a seasoned Ballet dancer..but both circle beautifully. -

The basic concept that Aikido teaches, that circular motions are powerful, is fucking cool. People engaged in combat spooning and doing high kicks in pajamas can be objects of ridicule as well. I'm just sayin'.....
