I ended up sitting next to Alan Folts on the way to the SHOT show earlier this year.

That is a great knife. A lot of guys I know carry them as neck knives, the kydex sheath the CRKT production knives come with is quite nice too. Best part is they are like $25 http://www2.knifecenter.com/item/CR2...rncliffe-Blade

The one in the photo is like 800 dollars.
I told Folts that my very first knife when I was a teen, was a CRKT
    He goes, "M16?"
    I goes, "yep"

I guess thats the ultimate noob knife. llol

My favourite knife is my Dean Hazuka Nessmuk - it's a fixed blade rather than folder but is almost a work of art! High carbon blade, maple handle and brass pinnings...gorgeous!

Does anyone know if Round Eye Knife and Tool(REKAT) is still around? I had a couple of their folders that I would love to replace.

Still going strong with my CQC-8. I've been considering getting another Emerson the next time I get a bonus from work. It's either that or a new light. As another user mentioned, the Sebenza is also an awesome knife. I've just got a hard on for the wave is all.

I carry the cold steel mini tuff lite with me everywhere.

I bought it because I thought it was cute and cheap. I had no intention of it becoming my everything-knife, but now I love it.

The main reason I love it is because the tip of the blade faces down, just beyond the tip of the thumb (if you put your thumb behind the blade). This gives you so much leverage when you use it, you can tear through boxes and packages easily, and you can really put some muscle behind it without having to worry about it slipping out of your hand.

The second reason I love it is that there is no way anyone could try to claim that cute little thing is an offensive weapon with a straight face, so I feel comfortable taking it anywhere.

That's one problem I have with serrated edges - people completely lose their **** over them, find them very threatening.

Plus, I find I very rarely cut through seatbelts so not as useful to me as a straight edge.
