Given that I am a southpaw, I have limited folder choices. Try as I might, I can't make the majority of liner locks work well for me. As such, my current EDC varies between a benchmade mini-griptillian (sheepsfoot blade), and a benchmade auto rift, depending on where I am and what I'm doing. They are both great knives, but benchmade needs to stop with the screws they currently use. If I get back on the Spyderco bandwagon anytime soon, I'll probably get either a Manix or one of their karambit style SALT series knives.
My go to camping knife is this:

Fantastic knife. Love it. It will probably outlive me.
If I ever decide I need another camping knife, I will probably get one of these:

Thanks. It is one of the best deals I ever got on a knife. I got that and the GI Tanto from CS for under $50 bucks. Two bad things about the knife, and they aren't terribly so. The sheath for the Lite BLOWS!! I can get a custom Kydex for it, but the sheath is twice the purchase price of the knife. The steel isn't the best, but it isn't terrible. It holds an edge decently. It was shaving sharp when I got it from CS, but I have had to touch up the blade more than I like. For under $25 for a full tang, lightweight tanto that is probably best suited as a fighting knife, I love it.
I think when ninjas come with glass knives and lava ninja stars, then it is suitable. Opening boxes and other utility purposes are probably a no go. -

Yeah, I got a Kydex sheath for my Tanto and I love it. It has the rivets around it so you can strap it onto stuff.
On a side note, I have one of the CS shovels! I spent a few hours throwing it into a tree and got where I can make it stick pretty well. That thing was sharp enough to shave hair strait out of the box. I bought the sheath for it which is pretty cool, but a little tighter than I would have liked. You have to shove it in pretty hard. Fun to have on camping trips!Combatives training log.

I recently got this one which is quite nice.
The Victorianox rescue tool
Apart from the car can opening abilities it does have quite a nice blade screwdriver combo. And has rescue tool written on the side rather than throat slitter six.
The handles glow in the dark.
But I keep it in a backpack. So it is not really deployed as much as just sort of pulled out.
