2 Loyd Irvin guys arrested on rape charges

I'm sure this is in his marketing seminars: How To Make Lemons Out Of Lemonade - PR Responses For When Your Students Commit Felonies. He's quite literally trying to take this news story about two of his students raping someone and turn it into advertising for his services. That's mind-bendingly obscene.

(Yes I know the rape prevention classes are free. Everybody knows that, just like other methods of goodwill--like funding kid's soccer teams--they're also a form of advertising and a way to get people into your school.)

Lloyd is doing to push down the article where he was put on trial for gang raping a girl in 1990 look it up.

The whole BJJ community needs to denounce these guys when they are convicted. Strike their names and ban them from competing.

I believe it was "I wanted to bang her, but I couldn't get my dick hard" so he got off in an appeal but was convicted earlier.

i haven't been able to find any articles about this other than from that daily press site (which seems to be a site that requires payment to see the articles.) i am far too cheap for that.

We have one on the front page. I'm writing a second one today... DC police confirmed that the victim was transported to an area hospital and that the initial complaint named only Schultz. That will probably figure into Maldonado's defense. They are in court later today.

sorry, i meant that i couldn't find anything about the 1990 case against lloyd irvin, not the current one.

The title of this thread is kind of misleading. Both these guys are on his team, but Maldonado at least is under someone else.

I think it's a fair way to characterise someone fighting for his team and living in his "fighter house" even though his belts and previous training come from somebody else.
