Vitor Belfort vs. Michael Bisping- Belfort will have to catch Bisping early if he's going to have a shot, otherwise he'll walk into jabs all night. Bisping via UD to book his facial reconstruction surgery with Dr. Silva.
Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Ben Rothwell - I always liked Gonzaga, but he never could seem to put it all together. I don't see him having much of a problem with Rothwell, whose main trait as a fighter seems to be how stunningly mediocre he is. Gonzaga via sub. -

Gonzaga left the game and has now returned. Which is a good thing, because he really never lived up to his massive potential, tending instead to fall into the Andy Wang-ish trap of trying to brawl despite having black belt BJJ skills and limited standup ability.
Main event is interesting in that both competitors are simultaneously overrated and underrated. I think Bisping will take it, too, by virtue of having better wrestling and cardio and because Belfort has an ugly habit of losing steam early in the fight, something I feel might be a psychological flaw.
I would prefer to see Bisping fight Silva as well, just to watch him get skullfucked. Belfort has a much better shot at beating Silva, though. Bisping is a decent all-rounder, but nowhere near good enough in any one area of fighting to pose much of a threat to Silva. Belfort could legitimately catch Silva standing. -

Well, I think we've discovered Michael Bisping's major weakness - getting hit in the face really, really hard.
Might not be that much of a revelation, true, but I think it's now been aptly demonstrated that he doesn't really have the strike defense or chin to deal with very heavy handed strikers. Disappointed in the outcome of the match, but with the UFC's current match making strategies they'll probably give Bisping a title shot anyway.
