That is not the kind of pressure he meant and you know it.
He means is that the concept of trying to apply pressure to POINTS on the body of a RESISTING opponent is a recipe for disaster. I agree.
A resisting opponent is not going to let you poke them or hold still while you find the "sweet spot". While you are poking around on their body they will mash your head into meal.
That is in a completely different realm than actually striking, compressing, or otherwise traumatizing the neck/spine, the possible outcomes of which are obvious (unconsciousness, paralysis, death, etc).
So "pressure points"..no. Manipulating someone's blood pressure, yes, any blood choke, punch, or baseball bat could do that.Last edited by W. Rabbit; 1/08/2013 11:30am at .

This looks like he pinches the carotid artery with his left hand and delivers a short knuckle strike to the back of the neck with his right:Gall bladder 20" in pressure point terminology. When attacking opposite quadrants of the head it is redundant with pressure points.
I have trained this extensively.
