Oh I agree 100%, I just enjoy occasionally enjoy being like LOLOLOL Capoeira has more deadly than teh ?ing ?un. I get skills from Capoeira that have helped me in knockdown karate, but by and large it's for performing and fun and doesn't even try to be teh deadly. Id still steer people to it before Chun and Aikido by and large though. Id be more likely to steer them towards Kyokushin, etc. than all the above though.

For me the most entertaining thing about these videos is how the announcers pay lip service to Wing Chun. Like how its 'simultaneous block and strike' abilities might give other fighters- like the wrestler- trouble.
It's easy to see the craziness in retrospect but I suppose at the time there wasn't enough direct evidence to know any better.
Of course now that the evidence is in I find much less entertainment value in the arguments about its effectiveness. -

The hood mentality is crippling disease, that attacks your nervous system. It makes you nervous of the system. Gangsters and hood rats are especially susceptible to this growth stunting mentality. Get in a fight, and use the stuff you know. If it works, let me know. Oh, make sure someone is there to revive you if you are messing with BJJ or Judo types, or wrestlers, and if messing with strikers, wear a cup, unless you like exploded testicles, or I guess if you got friends that like to beat the **** out of you, below the neck and above the balls. go for it.
