This one is terrific. Know why? Look at the tackling dummy's training montage. Notice anything?

Holy ****. Like... holy ****! That's about as bad as some of the TKD vs MMA fights I've seen online too. Just... hot damn! What amazes me and just blows my mind is that each of those men had trained in their system long enough to have confidence and feel like they knew what they were doing... and it didn't do jack **** to their opponents. If I still didn't know why we don't see Wing Chun in the cage, well... we did, and now I see why they don't play in cages anymore. Holy ****.

I'll be fair, here. Here are a few videos of Wing Chun guys winning:

The guy he beat was a damn fine figher, too.

    His stanima was almost superhuman.

I reiterate, check the training footage. The arts' presumptions (too deadly to spar) reinforce poor training, which introduce poor technique, and allows wishful thinking to dismiss effective technique that philosophically runs afoul of the arts' presumptions. The cycle continues, gathering steam as it goes, like the latter half of the Two Girls One Cup video. Since the "training" is mostly play-pretend fighting, he doesn't even get in shape on accident. as was said earlier, he'd had done better if he loaded boxes on trucks for a living.

In this light, the wing chun narrative makes more sense as the art used to defeat Yim Wing Chun, not defend her.

There is one technique in both aikido and wing chun that makes them superior to alive arts. It's called brainwashing.

See what I was saying about how some training has actual negative value? If he hadn't been doing the chun he might have at least tried to throw a haymaker or had the sense to stay out of the ring.
It seems to me that the Sanjuriu Martial Art is not in guestion, but, rather the character of Mr. Galt.

Humorously enough, Capoeira has probably put up more success in the cage with video evidence than Wing Chun and Aikido, probably because being athletic counts for an awful lot in fighting.
