Obviously upon converting to Christianity, anybody can understand that sailing around and butchering innocent people is wrong. That's why people stopped being Vikings. Saying "the Vikings disappeared" is like saying "hippies disappeared." The people who used to be hippies didn't mysteriously die off, unfortunately, they simply stopped being hippies because it was no longer convenient.
I wish that during the 60s there would have been Vikings to chop apart all of the hippies and other scumbags. Sadly, this was not the case.
You really do earn that screen name of yours don't you ?

WOW ! Thanks for that bit of insight, I'm glad we have you around here to set us all straight.

The show starts tonight and I will be watching it.
It is not a documentary, and I expect it to be about as accurate a portrayal of Viking life as Sons Of Anarchy is of outlaw biker life.
    Much more fiction than truth.

    Mediocre acting at best...
I wasn't overly impressed, but I guess its something to watch to pass the time.

Thanks to episode 7, I now know the origins of Steven Segal's (supposed) neck snapping moves in Under Siege.

I was enjoying the show up to this point.
