there have been more then 20 law enforcement dead , over 100 deaths from drive byes and other shootings to get at a rival or to make a point this is in the last 6 years

more then half the funds the the USA give to Mexico for fighting Crime was ripped off by the Crime lords of the cities and of Mexican Government Members that are Friends with the crime lords and that go out boating and so on.

In May of 2011, the head of the Texas Department of Public Safety, Steve McCraw, listed violence his agency had identified as “directly related to the Mexican cartels.” Between January 2010 and May 2011, he said, there were 22 murders, 24 assaults, 15 shootings and 5 kidnappings — 66 incidents in all in a state with 23 million people. just one state in a a little more then a year.

Your talking about TX a very large border state and is the largest drug corridor into the US. Do you not think this just one state is going to have a significantly higher than average amount of incident with the cartels? Even with all of that the amount of incidents are fairly low. This really does highlight the fact your first post was nothing but hyperbole. Cartels are not going into small towns and shooting up the place to scare people. How many of those 66 incidents do you suspect where not directly related to the drug trade?
